Watch brands enter the culture wars

In Australia, Sky News isn’t a precise equivalent of Fox News – its daytime news coverage is comparatively balanced. But Sky is also owned by Rupert Murdoch and has undeniably become something of a hotbed of right-wing punditry.  As a current-affairs channel, watches are not covered on a regular basis. You probably should also be the person that can either pull off a more dressier watch with casual clothes, or have places to wear this, like more formal events, business attire at the office or even just a nice dinner out where you can admire the watch in the dimmer restaurant lighting. Given I’m not an office worker anymore, I opted for the event and dinners out options to show this piec...

EVENT: A night at the museum with Jaeger-LeCoultre

Night at the Museum didn’t win many awards, despite Ben Stiller’s best efforts to portray a newbie security guard at the Museum of Natural History. It wasn’t a great film by any stretch of the imagination, but it did show that museums can remain truly spectacular places even when the daytime crowds aren’t there. Last … ContinuedThe post EVENT: A night at the museum with Jaeger-LeCoultre appeared first on Time+Tide Watches.
