Vacheron Constantin Égérie Self-Winding: All-Gold, Off-Beat Elegance
With the Égérie collection, Vacheron Constantin created a very tempting assortment of watches appealing to contemporary women. While the design of the Égérie is rooted in tradition, these watches always come with a little twist. In the case of the new Égérie Self-Winding, quite literally as the crown is at two o'clock with the date of this self-winding model occupying the same corner of the dial. While also available in steel, Martin Green thinks that the pink gold version on a gold bracelet is an especially precious proposition.

Hands-On With The New Oris Divers Sixty-Five Date 40mm In Green
The Divers Sixty-Five is something of a fan favorite among Oris aficionados. And why wouldn’t it be? It oozes the charm of a vintage dive watch, and it is well made and attractively priced in today’s competitive landscape. So when Oris announces new versions, I pay attention. And, as a former owner of a green-dial […] Visit Hands-On With The New Oris Divers Sixty-Five Date 40mm In Green to read the full article.

VIDEO: Blancpain’s Villeret GMT Date ensures elegance, no matter the time zone
Travel watches are typically seen as a rough-and-ready affair, a style dominated by hardy steel pieces that often seem to speak a language of adventure rather than luxury. But honestly, while this reflects a romanticised notion of travel, the reality, especially at the pointy end, is a much more civilised affair. If civilised travel is … ContinuedThe post VIDEO: Blancpain’s Villeret GMT Date ensures elegance, no matter the time zone appeared first on Time+Tide Watches.

Still one of the greatest – the Oris Divers Sixty-Five
Editor’s note: In 2019 heritage reissues are NBD. But back in 2015 the rules of the game hadn’t yet been nailed down. One of the standouts back then (and indeed now) was Oris, with their Divers Sixty-Five - it was a near perfect take. And one worth taking a second look at … The story … ContinuedThe post Still one of the greatest – the Oris Divers Sixty-Five appeared first on Time+Tide Watches.

VIDEO: New Traditions – taking a look at the Rado Tradition 1965
There’s few things I like more in watchland than being surprised. Sadly, it doesn’t happen too often. But when it does, it’s always memorable. And being in Rado’s booth at Basel last year was one of those moments. I had seen the large Tradition 1965 on display and dismissed it without a thought. Who needs … ContinuedThe post VIDEO: New Traditions – taking a look at the Rado Tradition 1965 appeared first on Time+Tide Watches.

Hands-On With The Rado Anatom Automatic Skeleton
It’s time for a short confession: generally, I am not the biggest fan of skeletonized watches. While I greatly appreciate the possibility of witnessing a caliber in action, I much prefer to see it in action through a sapphire display in the case back. It’s purely an aesthetic thing because, as a design fanatic, I […] Visit Hands-On With The Rado Anatom Automatic Skeleton to read the full article.

Introducing – New Gradient Dials for the Rado Captain Cook 39mm
It’s fair to say that genuine horological novelties, in the form of complications and new collections, have given way to a more trend-oriented approach in the watch industry. Riding the wave, many brands revisit popular collections in more compact case dimensions and different materials, treating the dials to seasonal colours. Rado’s Captain Cook, the brand’s […]

Introducing – The new Gradient Green Oris Divers Sixty-Five Date 40mm
While the Aquis, which has been recently revised, represents the modern side of dive watches at Oris, the Divers Sixty-Five collection is, as you might have guessed by the name, its vintage-inspired counterpart. An instrumental model for the brand’s recent history, the ’65 has been presented in dozens of editions, with manufacture movement, a chronograph, […]
