Christopher Ward Bel Canto Review

London-based watchmaker Christopher Ward has achieved the impossible in its relatively short number of years in the watch game, catapulting from if you know, you-know microbrand to one of the most continuously successful indie watch brands on the market. Its founding principles remain largely unchanged, though its scale has grown in the 24 years since its founding: make high-quality watches while cutting what could be called the luxury tax in the industry with a direct-to-consumer model. HANDS-ON: The Rolex Milgauss Z-Blue – the rebel Rolex

Even though many look to Rolex as a steadfast, unchanging bastion of the watch world, there are some definite outliers in the field. Bejewelled GMT-Masters, leopard Daytonas (which have now given way to unobtainium rainbow Daytona). These models are so uncommon and special that they do not really skew the public’s view of Rolex as a manufacturer … ContinuedThe post HANDS-ON: The Rolex Milgauss Z-Blue – the rebel Rolex appeared first on Time+Tide Watches.

VIDEO: Bulgari CEO chooses watches for our PM, Rebel Wilson, Joel Edgerton in an unmissable Celebrity Watch Match

[su_vimeo url=”https://vimeo.com/192869004″] It started in Tokyo. We were over there with Bulgari to celebrate the launch of their first ever watch, the Bulgari Roma, released just over 40 years ago. We landed, in a spare moment, at the bar. Our cameraman Marcus, or perhaps me, I honestly can’t remember, suggested we have a restorative whisky. … ContinuedThe post VIDEO: Bulgari CEO chooses watches for our PM, Rebel Wilson, Joel Edgerton in an unmissable Celebrity Watch Match appeared first on Time+Tide Watches.
