The original women's wristwatch lineage.
Cartier Tank traces back to 1917 and has been a women's-watch staple since the 1920s. Tank Must Small at 29.5×22mm is the appropriate small-wrist Tank.
The category is moving. Most modern "women's" watches are either (a) heritage references that were always smaller (Cartier Tank, JLC Reverso), (b) recently launched smaller-case versions of men's references (Rolex OP 31, Datejust 31), or (c) genuinely women-designed pieces with their own collection identity (Patek Twenty-4, Chanel J12 Petite, Cartier Panthère).
We've leaned (a) and (b): heritage and downsized-but-faithful. Modern women's collections vary in quality; the picks here are watches we'd recommend to anyone, regardless of gender.
